Citadel Floor Finishing Systems® Appliciation Process
>Step 1
The process begins by preparing the floor using a coarse diamond concrete grinder to remove stains, blemishes, minor pits, and/or light coatings. The floor is then vaccumed to remove all dust and debris.
>Step 2
A prime coat is then applied to the concrete. The primer provides a vapor barrier and creates excellent adhesion.
>Step 3
A base coat is roll applied and decorative chip is spread and allowed to cure.
>Step 4
The floor is then scraped after only 45 minutes. The floor is inspected ensuring a flat uniform appearance before the clear coat is applied to finish the system.
The system is fast curing which allows multiple coats to be applied in a short period of time. The complete application is done in one day and is ready for foot traffic in only 2 hours. The floor is ready for vehicle traffic after 24 hours.
